Mussel growing Nets
INTERMAS mussel tubular nets are used in different farming methods: "long line", "bouchot" , "hanging ropes" and "tables". We offer
a very comprehensive range of products in terms of strength and mesh sizes, which allow this product to be adapted to different seed
sizes and water conditions.
Extruded Tubular Nets
These tubular nets are produced from extruded polyethylene which has a very high breaking strength making them suitable even in very stormy waters. Please see the table below for many varieties of mesh and roll sizes.

Duplex net
The DUPLEX net was developed to help the perfect growth of mussels. The net is made from smaller and thinner mesh filaments inside the main structure that will break only when the mussels reach a certain size and break out. The mussles then cling to the main body of the net, progressively breaking out and developing completely. Using DUPLEX nets will increase your output, when compared to other systems, saving time and reducing costs. These nets are available in different colours, roll and mesh sizes.

Bouchots Net
The Bouchot net system is a very traditional method of farming mussels using a wooden post system and two meshes are available for this.
