No need for chemicals or to remove weeds. Just strim vegetation to ground level ensuring there are no fi brous stalks which could penetrate OPPOTEX 100. Simply lay OPPOPTEX 100 and cover with a mulch. OPPOTEX 100 is both a weed control and stabilising geotextile and can be used without a mulch where it will have a life of 7-9 years. Edges best secured by ‘Spitting’ or ‘Trenching’ or using Polypropylene barbed pegs.

OPPOTEX 100 is a woven membrane which can be used as both a weed control and stabiliser and can be used in traffi cked applications. Allows air and liquids to pass through to the soil. Can be used under decking without a mulch.

OPPOTEX 100 is not suitable for drainage applications as the porosity is not fast enough.

For drainage applications use PAVEMAS 95 or STABLEMAS 115.

Certain weeds like Couch Grass, Mare’s Tail and certain Bulbs can penetrate OPPOTEX 100 especially if the membrane is stretched when laying.
